A GREAT LOOK FOR EVERY ROOM

Most plush carpets are referred to as cut pile. During the manufacturing process, the carpet is sewn into the backing as loops and then cut to give the carpet either a soft velvet-like appearance or sometimes a textured appearance. This is where we get the terms textured, along with cut-pile, plush, and even saxony. The basic steps used to create all of these are pretty much the same. It’s the differences in the twist and height of each of type of pile that gives the carpet a unique appearance.
With hundreds of styles and colors to choose from, carpet can be used in a variety of settings. Saxonies refer to lower, smoother finishes; perfect for high traffic areas, such as formal living rooms or master bedrooms. Friezes often mean a twisted, uneven, medium height that creates a less formal but perfect foundation for a family room, bonus room, or kid's bedroom. The other terms you may also here: cables, sculptures, and velvets. Each type of plush carpeting can perform differently, and as a consumer, it’s important to know their characteristics before making a final decision. We cover the advantages and characteristics of each style during the in-home consultation. Our goal is to help you find the perfect carpet for your home or office.
